Terms of Service.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

HushVerified ("HushVerified", "we", "us", "the site") publishes reviews of AI companion apps and adult digital services: reviews written by users, editorial reviews written by us, discount information, comparisons and related content. HushVerified is operated from Denmark. These terms are a binding agreement between you and us covering all use of the site, whether or not you create an account. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site. Questions go through the contact form.

2. Age requirement

The site covers adult-oriented services and is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, to access any part of it. By using the site you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may remove content and terminate accounts where we believe this requirement is not met.

3. Accounts

An account is required to write, edit or report reviews and to claim a company profile. You must provide accurate information, you may hold only one account, and you are responsible for everything that happens under it, including keeping your password secure. Tell us via the contact form immediately if you believe your account has been compromised. You can delete your account at any time from the account page; see the privacy policy for what happens to your data and reviews.

4. Rules for user content

"User content" means anything you submit to the site: reviews, ratings, reports, verification materials and messages. For all user content:

  • Only review products or services you have actually used or genuinely dealt with.
  • Reviews must describe your own honest, first-hand experience. Negative experiences are welcome; fabricated, exaggerated-for-effect, or second-hand ones are not.
  • Do not submit content that: harasses, threatens or defames anyone; contains hate speech; is spam, advertising or solicitation; discloses another person's personal information (including names of non-public staff, addresses, phone numbers or account details); is sexually explicit; infringes anyone's intellectual property or confidentiality rights; is illegal or promotes illegal activity; or contains malware or links to it.
  • Do not post reviews you were paid, compensated or otherwise incentivized to write by anyone, including the company being reviewed or its competitors. Do not review a product owned by you, your employer or a competitor of your employer without disclosing that relationship in the review.
  • Do not use the report system to suppress honest reviews, and do not coordinate campaigns of reviews or reports (positive or negative) with others.

5. Moderation of user content

  • Every submission is moderated before publication. We may publish, schedule, decline, edit for formatting, or remove any user content at our sole discretion, at any time, with or without notice, and we are not obliged to publish anything.
  • Published reviews may later be removed if a report against them is upheld; see how we verify and moderate.
  • If your review was declined or removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can appeal once via the contact form (topic "Problem with a review"). A human re-reviews the decision and tells you the outcome and the reason. The re-review decision is final.
  • The verified badge is applied only where proof of purchase or interaction was provided and checked. Proof files are deleted once verification is decided; see the privacy policy.
  • We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, user content. Opinions expressed in user reviews are those of their authors, not ours. We do not verify factual claims in user reviews beyond the moderation and verification steps described on the site.

6. Your promises and your license to us

You keep ownership of the content you write. By submitting it you (a) confirm that it is truthful, that you have the right to submit it, and that it does not violate section 4; and (b) grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, publish, reproduce, adapt for display (for example excerpts and snippets), distribute and display it on HushVerified and in HushVerified's presence on other services (including search results, social media previews, feeds and machine-readable formats), attributed to your display name. This license lasts as long as the content is on the site. If you delete your account, published reviews remain, because they are part of the public record other consumers rely on. They are re-attributed to "Anonymous (Deleted User)". If you want a specific review taken down, you can delete it yourself from your account or ask us via the contact form.

7. Notice and takedown

If you believe content on the site infringes your rights (including copyright or trademark), is defamatory, or is otherwise unlawful, notify us via the contact form with: the exact URL, the specific content complained of, the legal basis of the complaint, and your contact details. We review such notices promptly and remove or restrict content where the complaint is justified. Companies wishing to respond to reviews of their product should use the profile claim and report flows instead.

8. Acceptable use of the site

You must not:

  • access the site with automated tools (scrapers, crawlers, bots) except normal search engine indexing that respects robots.txt, or harvest content or personal data from it;
  • use site content to train machine-learning models, or republish substantial parts of the site, without our prior written permission;
  • probe, interfere with or circumvent the site's security, rate limits or moderation systems;
  • impersonate any person, company or HushVerified staff, or misrepresent an affiliation;
  • submit false reports, false verification materials or false company claims.

9. Company profiles and claims

Companies may claim the profile of their own product via domain-email verification. A claimed profile grants extra reporting options and, on paid plans, additional features. Claiming a profile, free or paid, never affects scores, rankings, review visibility, or how reports are decided. Misrepresenting your affiliation with a company is a violation of these terms. We may revoke claims made in error or bad faith.

10. Our content, ratings and intellectual property

Editorial reviews, ratings, verdicts, scores, page design, logos and the HushVerified name are our property or licensed to us. Editorial reviews and verdicts are our opinions, based on research and testing at the time of writing. Scores combine user ratings (80%) with our editorial rating (20%) using a published method.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access the site for personal, non-commercial use. Short quotations with attribution and a link are welcome; wholesale reproduction is not.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos and interface screenshots appear on the site solely to identify, describe and review the products concerned. Their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by their owners, and all rights in them remain with their owners.

Corrections and right of reply. We want the facts right. If you believe an editorial statement is factually wrong, tell us via the contact form with the specifics and your evidence; we check claims against verifiable sources and correct errors, noting material corrections on the page. Companies can additionally respond to coverage of their product by claiming their profile and using the report flow. Corrections concern facts. Verdicts, scores and opinions are ours and are not negotiable.

11. Advertising and affiliate disclosure

HushVerified is a commercial site. We may earn money from advertising displayed on the site and from affiliate links, meaning links to third-party products or services that pay us a commission when you click them, sign up or buy. Where a page contains affiliate links, this may apply to any outbound link to a reviewed product. Compensation never affects scores, rankings, editorial verdicts, which user reviews are published, or how reports are decided. User review scores are computed from user ratings by a fixed formula that no advertiser can influence. We do not accept payment for positive coverage, and companies cannot pay to remove or suppress reviews.

12. Third-party services, prices and no advice

We review third-party products but are not responsible for their services, content, pricing, age-verification practices or conduct. Prices, discounts and product features are checked periodically but can change without notice; always verify with the provider before purchasing. Links to external sites (including YouTube videos) lead to services with their own terms and privacy practices. Nothing on the site is professional, financial, legal, medical or psychological advice; content about AI companion services is consumer information only, and decisions you make based on it are your own.

13. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any content (ours or users') is accurate or current.

14. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: decisions made based on reviews, ratings or other content; user-submitted content; the acts or omissions of reviewed companies; loss of data or profits; or indirect, incidental or consequential damage arising from use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (for free use of the site: nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing removes mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

15. Indemnification

If you are a business, or if you use the site in violation of these terms, you agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from your content or your use of the site, for example a defamation claim caused by a fabricated review you submitted. This clause does not apply to consumers acting in good faith.

16. Suspension, termination and survival

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, submit fraudulent content or claims, or abuse other users or staff, with notice where practicable and immediately where necessary. You may stop using the site and delete your account at any time. Sections 6 (license), 10 (intellectual property), 13–15 (disclaimers, liability, indemnification) and 17–18 survive termination.

17. Changes, severability and assignment

We may update these terms; material changes will be indicated by the effective date above, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept it. If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the rest remain in force.

We may assign these terms as part of a reorganisation or sale of the site; you may not assign your account. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the site.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's ODR platform.
